Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What Can I Expect at My First Visit?
Check in at the front desk with the receptionist and present your insurance card. Then, you will need to fill out some easy health history and general information forms. A technician will then review these forms with you. Most often, eye drops will be administered which will dilate your pupils. This step will blur your vision for 3 to 4 hours. The doctor will perform a complete examination and any testing which may be necessary. There is no pain during these tests. The doctor will discuss the results of these tests with you and answer any of your questions. Set your next appointment with the receptionist. Make your co-payment by cash or check. Note: You can expect to be with us for a total of 1-2 hours during your first appointment.
What Do I Bring to My Appointment?
Plan to bring to your first appointment and all subsequent visits up-to-date: INSURANCE INFORMATION, valid referral (if required by your insurance company), CURRENT PRESCRIPTION EYEGLASSES, AND CURRENT PRESCRIPTION SUNGLASSES.
